1st May 2008 Just to let you know that if you are using AVG Free as your antivirus solution at home the company, Grisoft, is retiring version 7.5 and is bringing in version 8. This isn't a scary process but here are some basic instructions to update your current program
- Go to the following Download AVG 8 from Grisoft and download from either download.com or direct from grisoft (no money needed, it's still free)
- Save the file somewhere you can get to it and once it has finished run the file by double-clicking on it
- Keep pressing next through the program, using the standard installation option, and it will uninstall version 7.5 and install version 8
- Restart your computer at the end of the process
- Once the computer has restarted, find the new icon (very similar to the old icon) in the system tray (bottom right of your screen), it looks like a square with 4 coloured squares in it
- Right-click on it and choose "Update now" to get you completely up to date
Also, those of you using openoffice there was an update in the last few months to version 2.4.1, Download OpenOffice, this is only recommended for download if you are on a broadband connection as the files are quite large.

11th November 2007 All of the photography has finally been moved to liquid black and the link at the top of the page here now points there as well. With the store now in place you can buy CDs of events and from the weddings I have covered.
Small update to the consultancy pages, reflecting the new services that I can now offer in the area of web design and hosting. I can already offer email hosting and I am looking to add FTP backup to the list as well - currently trialling with a customer; prices look to be starting from £5 / GB. 27th September 2007 Updates to back end of this site in progress, migration to the new server (it is currently being tested for development (dev) on a few other sites then a small re-vamp. Details soon.
29th July 2007 The New Forest Show 2007 this summer was very much on the muddy side of things, sadly alot of the money raised from the charity event by the show was used to make the ground passable and to pay for the tractors to pull people in the cars out of the muddy fields of New Park (I was one of them) - the show spirits were not dampened though - mearly soggy.
15th - 25th June 2007 If you have come here from liquid black then you will find that site working in the coming days, with a full gallery as well as allowing you to purchase prints on-line (for those interested). If you would like to look around the new galleries please feel free. The new liquid black gallery will be completely redesigned to make best use of the screen space and so that you can enjoy the photos better. More soon. Finished and online.
8th May 2007 Keeping in touch with the world of web-design, important as a freelance designer. No pictures today but the gallery exhibition is currently planned for the 22-25th of June 2007
1st May 2007 The site has finally been moved. Now hosted (virtually) on a much faster server which should deal with the increase in hits the site has had over the past year (thank you all) and make the gallery quicker to get around. An update to the site should be forthcoming soon as well as details about an exhibition I'm hoping to host (with others) in June.
13th April 2007 Special update today, as I have received a nomination for the Hantsweb Awards 2007 - for this site. They have furnished me with this most excellent logo as a sign of achievement

24th November 2006 Apologies for lack of updates lately and for the downtime this afternoon. We should now have a fully redundant fail-over on the internet connection of the site which should help matters... power issues are next then onto the new server next year some time. More pictures should be up in the coming weeks and an upcoming trip should yield some more great winter shots! See you soon.

17th July 2006 Full set of photos for yesterday's Ringwood Pedal Car event are now up in the gallery [click here], I have also managed to get a copy of the [race results] for those who are interested.
16th July 2006 Over 30 cars entered this year's event & there were throngs of crowds to support the teams in the blistering sunshine of this July Sunday afternoon - a few crashes & mechanical failures were not enough to slow the teams down with over 60 laps completed in 2 hours by the top teams.

14th July 2006 The press day for the New Forest Show 2006 was an opportunity for the press to find out more about what the Show has to offer this coming year, I was there & captured some feel that this show hopes to offer - that of local produce, excellence & a future for the New Forest National Park & Show for years to come.

12th July 2006 Finished most of the CSS for the site, now adding content, once this is uploaded to the web server then the work on adding the photo albums can start; followed by completion of the photography section. Web Design is going to be left for the moment so that I can add the details for it later & get the site up onto the internet.
